Eleven (11) German black forest roe deer antler trophies, all affixed to white-painted mounts. 1st-5th items: Five (5) trophies inscribed for Georg Otto Busse, en verso of diamond-shaped mounts with additional inscriptions, including one (1) dated "5 August 1863" with illegible location, one (1) dated "12 Aug. 87." with partially legible location "Nienbargen... (Rolgrie...)"; two (2) dated "1903-1915" with location "Diensthoop" [a district of Rotenburg]; and one (1) with illegible numbering. 6th-11th items: Six (6) trophies on shield-form mounts, including one (1) with illegible inscription, en verso; three (3) on mounts carved with foliate wreaths; and two (2) additional mounts. All items ranging in size from 6" H x 4 5/8" W x 4 7/8" D to 14 1/2" H x 6 1/2" W x 6 3/4" D. All items late 19th/early 20th century. All in overall good condition. Some slightly loose on their mounts. Mounts have contemporary paint. One on mount with foliate wreath with scattered errant green paint.
