1st-8th items: Eight (8) silver and enamel or wooden boxes, including silver-rimmed Peruvian antiquity. 1st item: Cherry box with lid having a sterling silver-rimmed, Peruvian Nazca woven textile with stylized pelican motifs to the outside and a silver plaque, stamped "Plata 950 Lima - Peru", affixed to the underside. Silver rim stamped "950 Peru". 1 7/8" H x 6 1/4" W x 4 3/4" D. Textile: Late Intermediate Period. Box: 20th century. 2nd item: Sterling silver teardrop-form, repousse box with hinged lid having orange enamel inlay with Arabic script. Stamped "Gazi 925" to underside. 7/8" H x 2" W x 1 1/2" D. Turkish, 20th century. 3rd item: Sterling silver egg-form box with hinged lid having red enamel inlay with bead surround. Stamped "3 Taxco 925 Mexico Sterling" to underside. 3/4" H x 1 3/8" W x 7/8" D. Mexican, 20th century. 4th-5th items: Two (2) sterling silver and enamel boxes with green and black enamel floral decorations and fitted lids, including one (1) with a deer motif on the lid (3/4" H x 1 1/8" W x 1" D), and one (1) with a green enamel-lined interior (5/8" H x 1 1/8" W x 7/8" D). Both items stamped "925" to underside. 6th item: Sterling silver toothpick holder with hinged lid, gilt wash interior, and incised line decoration to the bottom. Stamped with illegible maker's mark and "Sterling" to both sides of inner rim. 2 1/5" H x 1 5/8" W x 3/8" D. Likely American, 20th century. 7th item: Round silver box with lid having a crane finial. Stamped "900" to underside. 3" H x 2 3/8" dia. 20th century. 8th item: Silver box with hinged lid. Stamped "800 29 PD G". to underside. 3/4" H x 1 1/4" W x 1 1/4" D. Likely Continental, 20th century. 0.560 total weighable troy ounces sterling. 1.925 total weighable ounces .900. 0.565 total weighable troy ounces .800. 9th-11th items: Three (3) tortoiseshell items, including pillbox, card case, and cigarette case. 9th item: Collett & Anderson sterling silver circular pillbox with tortoiseshell lid. Base and lid marked with maker's mark, sterling, and London hallmarks; base with additional illegible date hallmark. 7/8" H x 1 3/4" dia. English, early 20th century. 10th item: Tortoiseshell card holder with mother of pearl inlay corners, brass push latch and hinge, felt lining, and brass nameplate with "C E March" affixed to top of lid. 3 3/4" H x 2 5/8" W x 1/2" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. 11th item: Tortoiseshell cigarette case with brass pin latch, hinge, and flap. 3 1/4' H x 2 5/8" W x 5/8" D. Early 20th century.

Condition

1st item: Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches to wood. Textile with significant discoloration and minor fraying. 2nd item: Overall good condition with minor dents to body and some surface wear to enamel. 3rd-5th items: Overall good condition with scattered slight surface scratches or pitting. 6th-8th items: Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches. Slight surface oxidation to crane box. 9th item: Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches and minor denting to silver components. Slight discoloration of tortoiseshell. 10th item: Tortoiseshell with scattered surface scratches; minor scattered hairlines, largest measuring approximately 1" L; slight warping, and minor losses, largest measuring 3/4" x 1/8". Hinge detached from base; fraying and losses to felt lining; and losses to mother of pearl inlay, largest measuring 3/4" x 3/4". 11th item: Surface wear throughout, slight warping, oxidation of brass components, and minor scattered hairlines, largest measuring approximately 1" L.
