Both items stamped "925" to underside. 6th item: Sterling silver toothpick holder with hinged lid, gilt wash interior, and incised line decoration to the bottom. English, early 20th century. 10th item: Tortoiseshell card holder with mother of pearl inlay corners, brass push latch and hinge, felt lining, and brass nameplate with "C E March" affixed to top of lid. 3 3/4" H x 2 5/8" W x 1/2" D. Slight discoloration of tortoiseshell. 10th item: Tortoiseshell with scattered surface scratches; minor scattered hairlines, largest measuring approximately 1" L; slight warping, and minor losses, largest measuring 3/4" x 1/8". Hinge detached from base; fraying and losses to felt lining; and losses to mother of pearl inlay, largest measuring 3/4" x 3/4". 11th item: Surface wear throughout, slight warping, oxidation of brass components, and minor scattered hairlines, largest measuring approximately 1" L.
