Eleven (11) assorted European silver items, mostly sterling plus Buccellati coin. 1st - 2nd items: Two (2) Italian Mario Buccellati coin silver shell form salt cellars with four bun feet and seahorse figureheads having red stone eyes. Stamped with maker's mark, "Made in Italy", and "800". 3rd-7th items: Five (5) English sterling silver items, including one (1) Henry Wilkinson & Co. pierced sugar bowl with hinged lid having flame finial, c-scroll handle, gothic arch design to body, and cobalt glass insert, stamped with hallmarks for Sheffield and 1839; one (1) Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. miniature bowl with gadrooned rim, stamped with hallmarks for London and 1933; one (1) Susanna Peppin pill box with chased floral design, stamped with hallmark for Birmingham and illegible date mark; one (1) footed bowl with lobed body and two handles, stamped with maker's mark "IH"; and one (1) repousse creamer with landscape vignettes on three feet, stamped with illegible hallmarks and key symbol. All items marked or test sterling. 8th-9th items: Two (2) European sterling silver items including, one (1) Swiss Derriey creamer, melon form, stamped with illegible hallmarks; and one (1) creamer with wooden handle, hinged lid having bud form finial, wave-line incised body, and three feet with scale patterned knees, stamped with illegible hallmarks. All items marked or test sterling. 10th-11th items: Two (2) sterling miniature boxes with hinged lids, including one (1) pierced, quatrefoil form; and one (1) rectangular form with chased design. Both unmarked but test sterling. All items ranging from 3/8" H x 1 1/4" W x 1" D to 5 1/8" H x 5" W x 2 3/4" D. 11.930 total weighable troy ounces sterling. 7.305 total troy ounces coin. Provenance: The collection of Gary Glesser of Loudon, Tennessee, by descent from his grandparents, Captain Hoyt and Rachel Holton of Toledo, Ohio.

Condition

All items in overall good condition with minor scattered surface scratches and denting. Cobalt -lined sugar bowl with denting to lid; glass insert with loss to rim and hairline measuring approx. 3 5/8" L.
