13 pieces Coin Silver including Charleston, South Carolina. 1st item: Oval handled teaspoon, possibly Charles Paxton Butler, working Charleston, c. 1790-1852, marked C*P*B in shaped rectangle, monogrammed JP. 2nd item: Tablespoon with Sheaf of Wheat design to handle, stamped J. EYLAND & CO. (working Charleston, first half 19th cent.). Monogrammed "Wells." 3rd and 4th items: 2 tablespoons with oval fiddle tipt handles marked J. CONNING MOBILE (active 1840-1872). Both monogrammed MEB. 5th through 11th items: 7 coin silver forks including 2 marked for retailer H.P. Buckley of New Orleans; 3 marked for retailers Mitchell and Tyler (working Richmond, Virginia, 1845-1866, with Gale and Hughes NYC maker marks for 1847; 1 marked for Gregg Hayden & Co. (working Charleston, c. 1846-1852) with Gale and Hughes NYC maker mark, year rubbed, all seven measuring 7 1/2"L; 12th and 13th items: 1 fork and 1 silver knife blade marked F M. in rectangles for Frederick Marquand (working Savannah, Georgia 1819-1826 and New York City 1826-1839), measuring 6 1/2"L and 4 1/4"L respectively. Combined weight: 19.52 oz troy. 

Condition

Overall very good condition. Forks have wear to monograms, marks, and tine ends. Teaspoon has tiny nick to edge of bowl.
