Eighteen (18) English and American sterling silver items with fitted cases, including miniature loving cups. 1st-6th items: Six (6) Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company miniature loving cups or shot glasses with slightly flared rim and three handles. Each stamped with maker's mark and hallmarks for Sterling, London, and 1902 to body; 3 with "O" and 3 with "T" stamped to underside. Includes original shield form, structured case with push latch, hinged lid lined with blue satin having gilt printed Goldsmiths & Silversmiths label, and blue velvet-lined base with fitted, fabric-lined compartments. Cups: 1 1/2" H x approx. 1 7/8" dia. Case: 2 3/4" H x 8 1/2" W x 6 1/4" D. 7th-14th items: Eight (8) James Deakin & Sons shell salt serving items, including four (4) salt cellars with three ball feet and four (4) salt spoons with twisted handles. All items stamped with maker's mark and hallmarks for Sterling, Chester, and 1897. Includes original shell form, structured case with push latch, hinged lid with cream satin lining, and black velvet-lined base with fitted compartments. Salt cellars: 1 1/8" H x 2 1/4" W x 2 3/8" D. Spoons: 2 3/8" L. Case: 2 3/4" H x 8 1/8" W x 6 7/8" D. Combined weight: 10.645 total weighable troy ounces. 15th-19th items: Four (4) Alvin Manufacturing Company sterling silver overlaid glass items, including one (1) clear glass decanter round form with foliate overlay design, central cartouche with monogram "EPM", faceted neck, pinched spout, c-scroll handle, and overlaid bud form stopper; and three (3) cranberry glass shot glasses with foliate overlay design. All pieces stamped with maker's mark, "999/1000 Fine", and model number. Shot glasses: 2 1/4" H x 1 7/8" dia. Decanter: 9" H x approx. 5" dia. 20th century.

Condition

1st-6th items: All cups in overall very good condition with minute scattered surface scratches. Case with scattered surface wear, tears to satin lining, partial separation of fitted velvet lining, and warping to body; case does not close properly. 7th-14th items: Overall very good condition with minute surface wear. Case with lid detached, scattered surface wear, and minor discoloration of satin lining; push lock no longer functioning. 15th-19th items: Decanter in overall very good condition with scattered minute surface wear, particularly to the rim. Shot glasses with scattered minor denting to silver; two with spidering hairlines throughout.
