Unsigned. Pencil inscription reading "S. Orcull, L. Orcril, or L. Orelli" en verso. Housed in a gilt and gesso frame with acanthus leaf decoration. Sight: 18" H x 14 3/4". Framed: 25 1/4" H x 21 33/4" W. Late 18th-early 19th Century. Note: This work is possibly by Vincenzo Angelo Orelli (Italy, c 1755-1813) and may have been a study for the ceiling of the Santa Maria Annunciata in Serina, Italy painted between 1800 and 1810.
