1990 $50 American Eagle Gold Coin, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens (New York/New Hampshire/Massachusetts/France, 1848-1907) and Miley Tucker-Frost (American, 20th-21st Century). Depicts Lady Liberty holding a torch and olive branch, backed by the rays of the sun, the U.S. Capitol visible, 46 stars circle design, obverse; male bald eagle carrying an olive branch back to a nest occupied by his mate and their offspring, reverse. Reeded edge. 32.70mm, 22 karat, 33.93 grams.
