Two (2) American School abstract watercolor and gouache on paper paintings. 1st item: Painting depicting a circus performer in the "Big Top" surrounded by animals and members of the audience. Sight: 16" H x 12 3/4" W. Framed: 27 3/4" H x 24" W. 2nd item: Painting depicting four clowns seated around a table. Sight: 13" H x 16" W. Framed: 24 1/4" H x 26 3/4" W. Both paintings signed with initals "B.J." lower right. Both with Bennett Galleries, Knoxville, TN labels en verso of frames. Both housed under glass with off-white linen liners and giltwood fillets in contemporary giltwood frames. Late 20th/early 21st century.
Both items in overall very good condition. Not examined outside of frames.
