1st item: Oil on canvas painting after Bruce Crane's (Connecticut/New York, 1857-1937) painting "Indian Summer," itself reproduced as a chromolithograph and published by Montague Marks, NY, 1894, late 19th c. A boy holds a stick and walks down a country road, with a settlement visible in the distance at upper right. Unsigned. Partially legible stamp to stretcher reads "The [Miller Boy?]...18[?]." Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight: 11 1/4 in H x 17 1/4 in. W. Framed: 15 3/4 in. H x 21 3/4 in. W. 2nd item: Oil on canvas painting of a body of water with several sailing vessels at left and a tree surrounded by wildflowers at right, with several distant buildings behind the tree. Unsigned. Housed in a giltwood frame: 11 3/8 in. H x 19 3/8 in. W. 

Both items in overall very good condition. 2nd item with a few spots of retouching to water, largest 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch, plus craquelure throughout. 1st item's frame with minor abrasions, especially to corners.
