1st item: American School oil on board impressionist style landscape painting titled "At the Edge of the Forrest" depicting trees with brightly colored green foliage. Signed and dated "J. Densmore 74" Lower right. Titled en verso. Housed in a giltwood frame with a linen mat. Sight: 9 1/4" H x 7 1/4" W. Framed: 18 1/2" H x 15" W. Late 20th century. 2nd item: American School oil on canvas landscape painting depicting an abandoned shack set against snow-covered mountains, likely the Rocky Mountains. Signed "Ruth C" lower right. Housed in a wooden frame. Sight: 15 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Framed: 20" H x 24" W. 2nd half 20th century.
