Two (2) Charlie Joiner (1921-2015) signed contemporary carved and painted wood duck decoys including one drake canvasback duck and one preening drake canvasback duck. Both signed on the base "Charlie Joiner, Chestertown, MD". The sleeping canvasback is additionally numbered 129. 8" H x 15 3/4" L and 7" H x 13 1/2" L.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
Condition
Both are in overall good condition, with some scattered wood shrinkage and discoloration noted at shrinkage. Canvasback with some additional scattered foxing/spotting to the body.
