Two (2) Sterling Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board vertical paintings including one (1) depicting a figure, possibly male, against a beige background, signed and dated "Strauser 1962" upper right corner, and one (1) depicting abstract forms, possibly flowers or figures against a two-tone background rendered in white, green, and blue, signed and dated "Strauser 1954" lower center. Both are rendered in a heavy impasto technique, Figure - 48 " H x 10 1/4" W. Abstract - 39" H x 11 1/4" W.
Both are unframed and in overall very good condition with light grime and slight warping to board. One with slight water damage visible en verso.
