Two (2) US Patent Models from the 19th C. 1st Item: "Suspension Egg Carrier", by Abner H. Bryant, patent no. 75,623, Mar 17, 1868; "composed of cloth pouches for holding single eggs, suspended between meshes of cords or twine". Wood constructed crate with two wooden and cloth trays on the interior. 13 1/2 in. W x 9 1/2 in. D x 8 1/4 in. H. 2nd Item: "Label and Ticket Receptacle", by Samuel M. Holton, patent to. 269,418, Dec. 19, 1882; "to provide a new and improved receptacle for labels, tags, or tickets, in which receptacle the labels &c, cannot get mixed, and from which they can be removed very easily." Wooden box with drawer, having divided sections within, with stack of example labels. The underside of the drawer has the inventor's signature along with a photograph of larger version of the box. 11 in. W x 8 in. D x 2 in. H.

Both items in very good overall condition. Egg carrier missing locking latch. Note: due to the innovative/experimental nature of patent models, it can be difficult to ascertain if all original parts are present or working as originally intended, and we do not guarantee their completeness or functionality.
