Twenty-three (23) pieces of coin silver flatware, primarily Tennessee makers. 1st-2nd items: One (1) fiddlehead teaspoon and one (1) fiddle tipt table/serving spoon with marks for John Campbell (working Fayetteville, NC 1834-1836; Cheraw, SC, 1836; Nashville, TN, 1836-c.1857). 3rd-7th items: Five (5) fiddle tip teaspoons marked "J, Adam Alex" and "10-15" stamped in rectangle for John Adam ( Alexandria, VA, b. 1780- d. 1846). 8th item: One (1) fiddlehead serving/tablespoon with mark for J. N. Sehorn (working in Shelbyville, TN c.1853). 9th item: One (1) fiddle tipt teaspoon with mark for G.W. Donigan (George Washington Donigan, working Nashville, 1850-1864).10th-19th items: Ten (10) fiddle tipt teaspoons with marks for W.M. Savage (Willian N. Savage working Glasgow, KY c.1805-1820). 20-22nd items: Three (3) serving/tablespoons with fiddle swell handles and tipt ends with marks for L. Kent (Luke Kent working Cincinnati. OH c. 1817-1841). 23 item: One (1) youth/ baby spoon with marks for J. Gafkins (working Providence RI c,1832). All handles monogrammed. Ranging in size from 5 1/2" L to 9" L. 16.19 troy ounces.

Condition

Some dents and warping to most spoon bowls. Campbell tablespoon with separations near base of bowl. One John Adam spoon with separation near base. Luke Kent spoons with significant wear to tips of bowls.
