Three (3) antique Turkmen Tekke Torba weavings, all wool on wool construction, including one Ak-Su design, one with 12 guls, and one with 30 guls. All woven in red, blue, and cream colors. Ranging in size from 3 ft. 10 in. x 1 ft. 10 in. to 4 ft. 2 in. x 1 ft. 6 in. All last quarter 19th century.
Condition
12 gul torba left border partially missing. Ak-Su torba in overall good condition. 30 gul torba with border loss on each side and losses to the fringed ends.
Provenance
Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
