Three (3) Charley Harper (Ohio/West Virginia, 1922-2007) bird serigraph on paper prints, including "The Last Sunflower", "Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker", and "Hexit". All published by Frame House Gallery, Inc., Louisville, KY, 1973, 1972, and 1980 respectively. 1st item: "The Last Sunflower", numbered 851/1500, depicting a flock of cardinals amassed on a field of white gathering towards one bird with a triangular shape in its beak. Numbered, in pencil, lower left under image, and signed "C. Harper", in pencil lower right under image. Image: 13" H x 18 5/8" W. Sheet: 16 1/2' H x 21 5/8" W. 2nd item: "Yellow-bellied Sapsucker", numbered 790/1500, depicting a yellow-bellied woodpecker with black and white patterned body and red crest and neck perched upon a tree trunk covered in holes upon a blue field. Numbered, in pencil, lower left under image, and signed "C. Harper", in pencil, lower right under image. Image: 13" H x 13 3/4" W. Sheet: 16 1/2" H x 16 7/8" W. 3rd item: "Hexit", numbered 1242/1500, depicting a spotted barn owl exiting a haymow or hayloft visible in the background through a red-paneled wall with a painted star medallion. Numbered, in pencil, lower left under image, and signed "C. Harper", in pencil, lower right under image. Image: 16" H x 16" W. Sheet: 20" H x 20" W. All items include Frame House Gallery portfolios and additional documentation. 2nd and 3rd items include tissue paper guards and are housed in original Frame House Gallery envelopes. Envelopes ranging in size from 17" H x 21 1/8" W to 21" H x 25" W.

Condition

All serigraphs in overall good condition. Tissue paper guard, portfolios, documentation, and envelopes with scattered minor creasing and toning/acid burn (does not affect prints). Envelopes with scattered minor tears, largest measuring 1 1/84" L. 1st item: Toning to edges of sheet, does not affect image; minute discoloration/wear to image at upper left corner.
