Three (3) Elvin King (American/Tennessee, 20th century) carved folk art sculptures in the form of animals including a standing rabbit, a duck, and a beaver, all with incised initials EK to the base. Ranging in size from 5 1/4 in. H x 15 1/2 in. L x 5 in. W to 18 in H x 8 1/2 in. W x 10 in. D. All circa 1980s. Note: Elvin King, a Tennessee artist, used a chainsaw to rough-carve his animal figures and sculptures before refining them through sanding. 

Condition

The rabbit figure with some wear and loss to the edges of the ears, otherwise overall in good condition. Duck and beaver overall very good condition.

The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville.
