Three (3) Robert von Neumann (Wisconsin/Germany, 1888-1976) works on paper. 1st item: Fishing scene etching entitled "The Anglers" depicting two fishermen viewed from behind and flanking a blasted tree. A richly inked impression with strong contrasts. Signed and titled in pencil, lower margin. Housed under plexiglass in a modern wood frame with ivory mat. Plate: 4 1/2" H x 4 1/2" W. Sight: 5" H x 5" W. Frame 17 3/8" H x 14 1/8" W. 2nd item: Etching depicting a man carrying a fisherman's basket or creel filled with freshly-caught fish, with a row of boats and several buildings visible in the background. Signed in pencil, lower right. Housed under plexiglass in a speckled wood frame with cream mat. Plate: 6 3/4" H x 5 3/16" W. Sight: 7 1/2" H x 6" W. Frame: 16 11/16" H x 14 11/16" W. 3rd item: Lithograph entitled "The Survivors" depicting a group of six figures including women, children, and a baby surrounded by the ruins of a city, likely inspired by the artist's experiences in World War I and/or reports of then-current World War II. Signed in pencil, lower right. With old gallery label in bag affixed to backing. Housed under plexiglass in a wooden frame with ivory mat. Sight: 9 3/4" H x 14 7/16" W. Frame: 17 11/16" H x 21 5/8" W.

Condition

Condition appears excellent. Not examined outside of frames. 1st item's frame with marked abrasions, especially to lower edge, others with minor, scattered abrasions.
