Knowles teaspoons; 4 Dominick and Haff teaspoons; 3 Wood and Hughes pieces including 2 tablespoons and 1 fish knife; 2 Whiting pieces, including 1 teaspoon and 1 cheese knife/server; and 2 sugar shell spoons by an unknown maker. All items marked or tested sterling. Ranging in size from 5 7/8" to 8 1/2" L. 18th-34th items: 17 pieces coin silver flatware by Southern and Northern markers, including: 2 tablespoons marked for David B. Nichols (working Savannah, GA, 1815-1839 and 1843-1855); 1 tablespoon marked for Levi Young (working Bridgeport, CT, 1824-1827); 5 teaspoons marked for Peter Perret Hayes (working Poughkeepsie, NY, 1816-1842); 3 teaspoons marked for William Ingalls Tenney (working New York, NY, 1828-1848); 1 Samuel Ward Benedict (working New York, NY, 1819-1864); 1 sugar shell spoon marked for John and William Moir (working New York, NY, 1844-1869); 1 pair of sugar shell tongs marked for Edward Davis (working Newburyport, MA, active circa 1770); 1 shell demitasse spoon with faint gilt wash to bowl marked for John Cook (working New York, NY, 1855-1880); 1 teaspoon marked for Frederick W. Packtmann and Herman F. Pachtmann (working New York, NY, 1861-1878); and 1 teaspoon marked for L. Odell. Ranging in size from 3 7/8" to 9" L. Some pieces with monograms or inscriptions. Coin: 14.540 total troy ounces. Sterling: 15.900 total troy ounces.

Condition

Normal surface wear, scattered dents and bends, primarily to bowls of coin silver pieces.
