Complete set of thirty-nine (39) Sterling Silver Franklin Mint for the White House Historical Association Commemorative Presidential Plates, representing all of the first 40 United States Presidents from George Washington to Ronald Reagan. (Note: Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th president but was commemorated on a single plate, thus 39 plates rather than 40). Each plate with an engraved image of the president and a title with gilt highlights, along with a fitted box and certificate. Plates: 8 in. dia. Boxes: 1 7/8 in. H x 10 1/2 in. W x 10 1/2 in. H. Each plate weighs 6.58 troy ounces. 256.62 total troy ounces. American, circa 1972-1980s.

Condition

All plates are in overall very good condition and retain their original boxes and certificates. Some boxes with wear.

The estate (Irrevocable Trust) of Waltraut H. Mizell, Nashville, TN.
