Our July 6-7 Live Auction in Knoxville features more than 1,000 lots of Fine Art, Antiques and Jewelry from the founding family of Rogersville, TN, and from the historic Pinckney family of Charleston, SC; from the estate of William J. Eskind of Nashville; the living estate of Jerry Waters, Maryville, the estate of U.S. Ambassador Ron Schlicher of Brentwood, and from other fine estates and private and museum collections. Sale starts 9 AM Eastern Time on Saturday, July 6 (lots #1-671) and continues at 1 PM Sunday, July 7 (lots #672-1086) at our Knoxville Gallery, 4310 Papermill Drive.

Forty-eight (48) pieces English, Irish, Russian and American sterling silver flatware. English and Irish items include: 2 London sterling gravy ladles marked for George Adams, 1873-74, and for Henry Holland, 1822-23; 1 Dublin sterling gravy ladle, mark for Charles Marsh, 1824-25; 1 Dublin serving fork, mark attrib. John Smyth & Sons, 1865-66; 1 Elizabeth II coronation souvenir spoon; and 2 shell bowl salt spoons, maker's mark rubbed, 19th c. American sterling items include: 9 Gorham Chantilly demitasse spoons; 12 Towle teaspoons; 6 Whiting twist handle cocktail forks; 1 Towle sauce ladle; 1 Weidlich sauce ladle; 1 Weidlich berry ladle; 1 Webster lemon fork; 1 Wallace seafood fork; 7 souvenir spoons, and 1 Cummings bar knife with weighted silver handle. Also included is 1 Russian enameled silver-gilt spoon, 84 zolotnik mark, late 19th century. Combined weighable sterling: 31.3 troy ounces.

Condition

All items very good condition with light use wear. Some pieces with monograms.
