1st-3rd items: Three (3) small European porcelain items, including one (1) needle case with painted vignettes depicting pastoral landscape scenes with figures, surrounded by cartouche decoration, with a hinged lid, brass mounts, and additional landscape scenes to the top and underside; one (1) perfume bottle with a hand-painted frieze depicting a harbor scene with figures, gilt foliate and scalloped decoration to top and base, and topped with fish finial; and one (1) small perfume bottle, black ground with gilt still life decoration to front and foliate decoration en verso, with a brass coil surrounding the edge, a brass mounted top, and screw lid. Ranging in size from 2 1/2" H x 1 1/4" W x 1/2" D to 4" H x 2" W x 1" D. All late 19th/Early 20th Century. 4th-5th items: Two (2) English or Continental porcelain shell form dishes with armorial decoration, including one (1) dish having a dark green molded rim with leopard armorial to the center and gilt highlights throughout (9 1/2" H x 8" W), and one (1) dish having a foliate and geometric rim with eagle and crown armorial to the center with gilt highlights throughout (7 3/4" H x 8" W). Both dishes unmarked, early to mid19th century.

Condition

1st item: Craquelure and scattered loss to paint and gilt decoration. Hairline crack extending from rim of body to center, splitting at 1"; one old nail missing from side. 2nd item: Slight surface scratching and some loss to gilt decoration. 3rd item: Slight wear to gilt decoration. 4th-5th items: Both dishes with light wear and losses to decoration. Dish with eagle armorial with hairline to the rim.
