Gorham 5-piece tea service in Plymouth pattern, with Wallingford Co. silverplate tray and sterling tea strainer. Tea service includes: coffee pot, tea pot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl, all stamped with maker's marks, "Sterling", and 4 pieces with date mark for 1911. Silverplate tray stamped with maker's marks and "Made in England". Strainer marked for Sterling Silver Mfg. Co. All pieces monogrammed. Hollowware ranging from 4 1/2" H to 9 1/2" H. Tray: 25 3/4" H x 17 1/2" W. 71.11 total weighable troy ounces. 7 items total.
Condition
Overall good condition. Handles on both coffee and tea pot are loose. Scattered minor dents, largest approximately 5/8" L to creamer. Light surface scratches.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
