Five (5) pieces of coin silver flatware, including 1 cream ladle, marked for Walter C. Smith, working Bowling Green, Kentucky, c. 1846-? and Louisville, pre-1858-1863. 1st - 2nd items: Two (2) pieces with fiddle handles having incuse marks W.C. SMITH BOWLING GREEN, KY, including 1 cream ladle and 1 sugar shovel (sugar shovel mark is double struck). 3rd - 5th items: Three (3) pieces marked W. C. SMITH, including 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon marked W.C. SMITH in rectangle, both with fiddle swell handles; and 1 knife with beaded design to handle marked W.C. SMITH incuse on blade. Tablespoon has label adhered to handle stating it came from the Royce Collection and attributing it to Bowling Green. Ranging in size from 5" to 8 1/2" L. Combined weight all items: 4.25 troy ounces.

Teaspoon has dents and a 1/8" tear to bowl, other items in excellent condition, all monogrammed.
