Our July 6-7 Live Auction in Knoxville features more than 1,000 lots of Fine Art, Antiques and Jewelry from the founding family of Rogersville, TN, and from the historic Pinckney family of Charleston, SC; from the estate of William J. Eskind of Nashville; the living estate of Jerry Waters, Maryville, the estate of U.S. Ambassador Ron Schlicher of Brentwood, and from other fine estates and private and museum collections. Doctorow, New York: Random House, 1985. Hardcover Limited Edition, one of 300 copies signed by Doctorow on a limitation page, Octavo, 288pp., blue cloth gilt-stamped boards in publisher's blue slipcase, unopened in publisher's shrink wrap. 6th Item: BILLY BATHGATE, E.L. Hardcover Limited Edition of 300 copies signed by Doctorow on a limitation page, this being # 40 as indicated on slipcase sticker, Octavo, 223pp., blue cloth gilt-stamped boards in publisher's blue slipcase. 7th Item: MANTISSA, John Fowles, Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1982. Hardcover Limited Edition of 510 copies signed by Fowles on a limitation page, this being #131 as noted on slipcase. Unopened with publisher's original $75 price on shrink wrap. Octavo. 196pp. Red cloth boards stamped in gilt, in publisher's blue slipcase. 8th Item: A MAGGOT, John Fowles, Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1985. Hardcover Limited Edition, one of 360 copies signed by Fowles on a limitation page, unopened in publisher's shrink wrap. Octavo. 455pp, beige cloth boards with gilt stamped spine, in burnt-orange slipcase. Items range in size from 9 3/4"x 6" (Mantissa),  to 11" x 7 3/4" (Cider).

(Poets):  As New in publisher's Very Fine shrink-wrapped slipcase, $75 sticker to rear of shrink.(World's Fair): As New in publisher's shrink-wrapped slipcase, $75 sticker to rear of shrink. (Bathgate): As New in publisher's shrink-wrapped slipcase, publisher's barcode sticker to rear of shrink.  (Mantissa) Very Fine in Very Fine slipcase. (Maggot) Very Fine in Fine slipcase, slight bump to bottom.
