After Etienne Maurice Falconet (France, 1716-1791) carved alabaster nude sculpture titled "Venus After the Bath" depicting the goddess in contrapposto with a garment at her waist, leaning on a tree stump with seashell decoration, all on a circular base. 27 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W x 9 1/2" D. 19th century.

Overall good condition with some surface scratching, chip to right elbow, scattered separations and chipping to base, three repaired sections of base, largest 5" long.
