1st item: Derriere le Miroir no. 141, 1963, containing eight original color lithographs by Alexander Calder (American, 1898-1976), including 3 double-page lithographs and cover, plus photographs and text, and issue of Chroniques. Published Maeght Editeur on the occasion of the exhibition of six Calder Stabilizers at Galerie Maeght, November 1963. Also includes a double-page color lithograph by Paul Rebeyrolle, (French, 1926-2005) titled Deux etudes sur fond colore, from Derriere le Miroir no. 163, 1967. 2nd item: Lithograph after Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) entitled Atelier aux Deux Modeles and depicting a bearded male artist and two nude female models. From the edition of 500 published by Imprimerie Sebastian, Ceret, France, after a 1954 drawing in the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Céret. In the original shrink wrap with cardboard backing. Sheet: 22" H x 14 3/4" W. 3rd item: Lithograph after Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954) entitled Grande tet de Femme and depicting the head of a woman who looks to the viewer's right. Published by Imprimerie Sebastian, Ceret, France, after a 1945 drawing in the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Céret. In the original shrink wrap with cardboard backing. Sheet: 22" H x 14 1/2" W. Note: The Musée d'Art Moderne de Céret was founded in 1950 with the support of both Picasso and Matisse.

Condition

1st item: With faint toning to edges plus 3" x 1" abrasion to cover, lower right, with loss. 1 1/2" tear without loss to cover, upper left, plus creasing and handling wear to edges and dog-ear crease to upper right corner. 2nd-3rd items: Overall very good condition. Backing is creased through upper center, prints with soft marginal creasing but no apparent creasing to image. Not examined outside of shrink wrap.
