Oil on canvas painting after Henriette Ronner-Knip's (Netherlands/Belgium, 1821-1909) The Dog Cart, 1870, depicting a team of three dogs harnessed to a vegetable cart. Signed "Borofsky," lower right. Housed in a speckled giltwood frame. Sight: 23 3/4" W x 18" H. Frame: 29" W x 23" H. 20th century.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with 2" x 1" area of fine crackling in upper left. Frame with minor abrasions and gilt loss.
