Large Chinese Export Famille Verte Porcelain Basin Bowl, 18 1/2" diameter. Circular form, the center and interior sides decorated with scenes of figures engaged in various court activities; the sides featuring additional dragon, flaming pearl and fruit/floral decorations. Flaring rims with vignettes of birds on a diaper or trellis background and gold trim; the exterior sides with fruit/floral sprig decoration. Unsigned; remnants of old ink inscription "Chinese Export" to underside. 6"H x 18 1/2" diameter. Qing Dynasty, 19th century.

Private Middle Tennessee collection. Overall very good condition with some wear to interior enameling, most noticeably to center. Wear to gilding at rim.
