Continental oil on canvas still life depicting a wooden bowl of apples, cracked nuts, a wine bottle with a glass, and a pottery pitcher, all displayed upon a tabletop. Unsigned. Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight: 23 7/8" H x 25 1/2" W. Framed: 27 1/2" H x 29" W. 19th century.

Overall craquelure to canvas. Tear to upper left quadrant of canvas with old corresponding patch en verso. A few scattered small areas of paint loss, including left of wine bottle, top left, and top right above pitcher. Scattered wear and light losses to gilt frame.
