Captioned in the image and dated Sept. 20, 1901, with M. Edw. Wilson signature lower right. Float mounted atop a beige mat under non-glare glass in a stained wood frame with beaded molding. Image - 19"W x 12 1/2"H. Frame - 28" x 24". Note: The Savannah, Florida and Western Railway was organized Dec. 9, 1879 and was the original line of the so-called Plant System, owned by Henry B. Plant, a system of railroads and steamboats in the Southern United States. It was taken over by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1902. M. Edward Wilson was a Savannah based photographer working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
