East Tennessee pie safe, Greene or Grainger County, cherry and walnut primary woods, poplar secondary wood. Rectangular form with shaped gallery, two dovetailed drawers with turned pulls above two doors, each having four tins punched with a stylized diamond pattern with floral corners. Each side with two matching punched tins and the whole resting tapered feet. 52 1/4" H x 55 1/4" W x 15 1/2" D. Circa 1860.
Back right tapered foot replaced, gallery with evidence of insect damage and losses to left top and returns. One drawer with partial replacement of underside. Wear to edges of tins on front doors.
