Etty Horton (United Kingdom, fl. 1882-1905) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a man in a horse and cart and a woman on a country road beside a pond, a small house visible in a group of trees to the left before a field in the background. Signed "E. Horton" lower right. Housed in a carved rococo style giltwood frame with carved centers and flourish corners. Sight: 11 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Framed: 17 1/2" H x 25 1/2" W.
Overall craquelure, with few surface scuffs, largest 1", to sky.
