William Long (American/Mississippi, b. 1941) acrylic on canvas abstract floral painting titled "Garden Group Series: Night Pods" depicting an up-close or "macro" perspective of orange flower petals and budding plants or stamens against a gradient background. Blue border mimicking painter's tape. Signed and dated in blue "William Long '89" lower right. Exhibition label with artist information and title taped, en verso of canvas. Inscribed "LONG" with numbering, identification tag, and additional paper label with artist information stapled, en verso of stretcher. Unframed. 60" H x 84" W.
