Italian faux-painted wood pedestal cabinet, ogee carved top above one paneled door with lock and three paneled sides, all above bracket feet. Faux multicolor marbleized paint covering exterior. 33 in. H x 31 in. Sq. 18th century or earlier.
Condition
The painted surface is likely a later addition to the cabinet. Mortise repaired with wood filler. Overall general wear and losses to the painted surface. The interior is missing a shelf. A board was added to the lower interior back of the cabinet.
