Joseph Day Knapp (New York, 1875-1962) watercolor on paper sporting art landscape painting titled "Mallards Landing" depicting male and female mallard ducks flying over a marshy coastline with a cloudy blue sky overhead. Signed "J.D. Knap" lower left. Label from Copley Fine Art Auctions, Hingham, MA en verso. Housed and matted in a contemporary chrome frame under glass. Sight: 14 1/2" H x 20 3/4" W. Framed: 22 1/2" H x 28 1/2" W.
Overall good condition with toning at the perimeter from matting technique. Frame with slight losses. Not examined outside of frame.
