Jeanne Davies (Pennsylvania/New Jersey, b. 1936) oil on canvas painting titled "The Olde Antique Shop" depicting a wooden building painted in pastel colors with flower trellises and a sign reading "ANTIQUES" with two children and a woman milling before its facade, a pathway to a red brick house and an additional house visible in the left background. Signed "Davies" lower left. Victory Frame Shop, LaFayette, NJ label en verso of frame. Gilt metal placard with title and artist's name, affixed lower center of frame. Housed in a contemporary gilt frame with carved decoration. Sight: 19 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 24 1/2" H x 28 1/2" W.
