Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983) abstract lithograph on Arches wove paper, “Lithograph X” AKA "Dolphin and Parrot," from Lithographs II, 1975. Published by Leon Amiel, New York, and printed by Maeght, Paris. Signed in pencil, lower right, and numbered XXIII/LXXX, lower left. With Arches watermark, lower center. Ref.: Mourlot 1045; Cramer Books 198. Housed under glass in a metallic frame with cream linen mat and liner and metallic fillet. Sheet: 17 3/4 in. H x 24 1/4 in. W. Framed: 25 1/2 in. H x 31 1/2 in. W. Note: A scanned copy of a 1990 Galerie Michael, Beverly Hills, CA certificate of appraisal (with lithograph incorrectly assigned to Lithographs III, 1977) is available to the winning bidder.

Condition

Overall very good condition. The full sheet, with deckled lower edge. Hinge mounted with archival tape affixed to verso. With mat staining to edges, outside of sight area.

Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
