Large, likely Southern early handmade wooden cutlery or tool carrier, square nail construction, dark reddish stained finish, single cut out central handle and two compartments. 21"w x 5 1/2"H x 15"D. 19th century.
Condition
Wear and patination throughout, old 1" flake to wood at handle, full shrinkage crack to one side on bottom, scratched initials of past owner to one side.
