Large Figured Maple Silver Flatware Chest on Stand

Large Campaign style figured and birdseye maple silver flatware chest with brass bindings, having a hinged top with inner compartment above three drawers, all lined with satin. Underside of lid stamped in gilt "L. Bauman St. Louis, Mo". Retains the locking key. Fitted with a wrought iron stand. Box measures 12 3/4" H x 23 1/4" W x 18" D. Stand measures 24 1/4" H. Early 20th century chest.
Box with use wear, wood shrinkage and very minor wear to satin lining. Wrought iron base with scratching and losses to finish on the top surface.
