Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) etching, drypoint, and color lithograph with embossing on Arches wove paper, "Les Montres gelantines se l'espace-temps (The frozen watches of space-time)," 1974. From the series "Le Conquete du Cosmos (Conquest of Cosmos)." Published by Jean Lavigne, Paris. Signed and inscribed "E.A." in pencil, lower margin. With watermark lower right and inscribed G/38477 and OI 74-12- E to verso. One of 195 proof impressions from the total edition of 585. Ref.: Field 74-12 E. Housed under acrylic in a giltwood frame with black textile mat and gilt fillet. Sheet: 39 3/4 in H x 27 1/4 in W. Sight: 38 in H x 25 1/2 in W. Frame: 56 1/2 in H x 44 3/4 in W.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with strong colors, rich burr, and wide margins.
