Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) etching and aquatint on Japon paper, “Le Legacy,” from Historia de Don Quichotte de la Mancha, 1980. A bearded man rests in bed while a second figure, shown in silhouette, sits in a chair at right. A windmill is seen through a window. Published by DALART, 1981, with blind stamp lower right. Signed in pencil lower right and editioned “A.P. 38/50” lower left. From the edition of 150 plus 50 E.A or A.P. impressions on Japon paper. Ref.: Field 80-1 N. Housed under glass in a giltwood frame with tan textile liner and gilt fillet. Sight: 29 in H x 21 in W. Frame: 44 in H x 36 1/4 in W.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
