Southern Middle Tennessee, likely Lincoln Co., diminutive sideboard or server.  Cherry primary, tulip poplar secondary. Two projecting dovetailed scratch-beaded drawers over one long scratch-beaded dovetailed drawer flanked by ring and cylindrical turnings, paneled sides, ring turned legs terminating in an elongated ball and spike. 37 1/2 in. W x 22 1/2 in. L x 43 in. H. Note: this is one of a group of small sideboards - sometimes also described as huntboards - of similar form, with attributions to the Lincoln County area in Southern Middle Tennessee. Ref. Overall very good condition with an older refinish. A couple of small rectangular veneer patches for the divider between the two small drawers and the lower drawer. Drawer side supports with some buildup. The back right lower stile with an old break near the mortise joint.
