Maitland Smith French Empire style desk or writing table, rectangular form with a tooled leather top and curved corners, two narrow drawers with lion mask pulls, Curule style legs with carved gilt acanthus capitals and carved gilt paw feet with partially turned stretcher. Label en verso reads, HAND MADE IN PHILLIPINES DESIGN BY MAITLAND-SMITH LTD. 29" H x 60" L x 30" D. Circa 1980's.
Overall very good condition with light scattered general wear.
