Margaret Wehrley (Wisconsin, 20th c.) oil on canvas painting entitled "View From The Park" and depicting Milwaukee's Juneau Park in autumn. A man walks down a path while another sits on a bench and reads in the shade of a tree's colorful fall foliage. A street lined with large buildings - including the historic Knickerbocker Hotel - and populated with pedestrians is visible in the distance. Signed "WEHRLEY," lower right, and titled "View From The Park" to back of stretcher. Housed in a simple wood frame. Canvas: 22" H x 28" W. Frame: 26" H x 32" W.
