Marguerite (Clawson) Burgess (Virginia, b. 1913) oil on canvas landscape painting titled "Bayou" depicting two rowboats docked before a small building and a shack with a treeline in the background bathed in moonlight. Signed "M. Burgess" lower right. Titled and additionally signed, en verso of stretcher. Housed in a grey-painted wooden frame. Sight: 19 1/2" H x 23 3/4" W. Framed: 24 1/4" H x 28 1/4" W.
Overall very good condition. Frame with scattered wear to paint.
