Marion Bryant Cook (Tennessee, 1933-2018) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting birds in the upper branches of a budding tree, set against a cloudy sky. Signed and dated "Marion Cook 4-1979" lower right. Two Lyzon Gallery, Nashville, TN labels en verso of frame. Housed in a carved wooden frame attributed to Clarence Stringfield, with an off white linen liner and a giltwood fillet. Sight: 13 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W. Framed: 21" H x 17 3/4" W.
