Morley Hicks (Ontario/Wisconsin, 1877-1959) impressionistic oil on board painting depicting trees in the foreground with figures walking along a path in front of an open field mid-ground, and two small structures amongst rolling hills beneath a sliver of blue sky backgound. Signed "Morley Hicks" lower right. Housed in a carved giltwood frame. Sight: 13 3/4" H x 21 1/2" W. Framed: 20 1/2" H x 28 1/4" W.
