Our July 6-7 Live Auction in Knoxville features more than 1,000 lots of Fine Art, Antiques and Jewelry from the founding family of Rogersville, TN, and from the historic Pinckney family of Charleston, SC; from the estate of William J. Eskind of Nashville; the living estate of Jerry Waters, Maryville, the estate of U.S. Ambassador Ron Schlicher of Brentwood, and from other fine estates and private and museum collections. Sale starts 9 AM Eastern Time on Saturday, July 6 (lots #1-671) and continues at 1 PM Sunday, July 7 (lots #672-1086) at our Knoxville Gallery, 4310 Papermill Drive.

Nine (9) 20th-century mantle or desk clocks and barometers. Includes one (1) Spilhaus Space Clock designed by Dr. Athelstan F. Spilhaus, made by Edmund Scientific Co., serial # B1138; one (1) Waterbury Clock Co. brass carriage clock with opaque custard glass face and beveled glass window; one (1) Angelus Swiss trapezoidal brass desk clock on swivel base, with engraving "Richard H. Romstadt 1945-1965"; one (1) Westinghouse alarm clock, white painted metal with maker plaque to back; one (1) Swiss combination brass desk clock, thermometer, and barometer, face marked Diesinger & Dolan; one (1) Swift & Anderson, Inc. combination desk barometer, thermometer, hygrometer with metal and wood case; one (1) Taylor, Rochester NY, combination desk barometer, thermometer, hygrometer with metal and plexiglass body; one (1) Angelus Swiss Carillon brass square desk clock; one (1) Concord Swiss combination brass desk clock, barometer, thermometer. Ranging from 2 1/2" H x 2" W x 1 3/8" D to 15 1/2" H x 11 3/4" W x 5" D. All early to mid 20th century.

Condition

All in good condition. Not tested for functionality.
