European school oil on canvas still life depicting pink flowers in a transparent blue glass vase with apples and a red glass bowl on a table top with draped backdrop, rendered with painterly brushstrokes and naturalistic shadows. Illegibly signed in lower right, possibly "E.J." Housed in a designer carved wood frame with gilt details by Alexander W. Mogensen, label on frame in verso. Sight:14 3/4" H x 12" W. Framed: 22" H x 19 1/4" W. 20th century.
